We’re introducing a new level of job role for practitioners in care at home and housing support when we make our Register changes on 3 June.

We now host the Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) portal for the Early Learning and Childcare Workforce which offers easy access to a wide range of learning options.

Following our consultation in autumn 2023 we’re introducing return to practice requirements for social workers who’ve been out of social work practice and off the SSSC Register for more than two years. The new requirements will take effect from 3 June 2024.
