This included several new and upgraded systems alongside new IT equipment during 2019, at the same time as a 35% increase in applications to the Register as the 2020 date for mandatory registration of support workers in care at home and housing support services approaches.

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) published the 2018 Workforce Data Report today.
The report shows that the size of the social service workforce has increased to 204,610, a rise of 1.2% since 2017, the highest level recorded since these reports began in 2008.
