The Care Inspectorate and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) have today published new figures on the levels of staff vacancies in Scotland’s social care services.

We’re supporting the Young Person's Guarantee which was launched by Scottish Government in November. This new initiative will make sure every young person who is at risk of unemployment has access to a job, apprenticeship, education or training opportunity. 

We have made some changes to the endorsement page of MySSSC to make sure the information provided on applications is as accurate as possible.

From 1 January 2021 the UK will introduce a new points-based immigration system which will treat EU and non-EU citizens equally. Anyone coming to the UK to work, excluding Irish citizens, will need to apply for permission in advance.
