Social care employers have longer to advertise their vacancies for free on the myjobsscotland website after the facility was extended as part of the Scottish Government adult social care careers campaign. The free offer now runs until 12 June 2021.

The Care Inspectorate and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) have today published new figures on the levels of staff vacancies in Scotland’s social care services.

We’re supporting the Young Person's Guarantee which was launched by Scottish Government in November. This new initiative will make sure every young person who is at risk of unemployment has access to a job, apprenticeship, education or training opportunity.
