We deliver the programme in partnership with Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS), NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the Care Inspectorate (CI) and we expect to have around 100 people complete the programme by the end of 2025.
What is CEIM?
CEIM Leaders is a coaching skills development programme designed to give staff the knowledge and skills to coach and lead teams to implement CEIM.
CEIM provides a framework that supports health and social care teams to improve services based directly on the experiences of individuals who use them. It was initially developed in 2018 for healthcare settings and more recently adapted for social care settings.
Who should apply?
This programme is open to people working in adult social services and healthcare services. It is designed for people who:
- work in, or directly with, teams that deliver care or support
- are committed to improving quality and service user experience
- can dedicate time to leading improvement activity within their organisation.
If you work in adult social care or NHS Scotland there is no charge for participation.
How can I get involved?
You can find out more about the CEIM Leaders programme, including an information pack and application form for cohort five, on Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s website.
You can also access resources that help teams adopt CEIM in their practice.
The closing date for applications is Monday 13 January 2025.
Hear from previous graduates
At the graduation event for a recent cohort of the programme, graduates reflected on their learning and their plans to enable, empower and inspire others. Find out what they said.
