The workshops will explore the personal impact of grief and loss on staff. They will provide you with information, awareness, advice and strategies to cope with grief and loss experienced through your working roles. Topics will be discussed in a safe space, with a highly experienced bereavement trainer from Cruse Scotland.
These are not grief counselling sessions.
About the workshops
There are four different free workshops which are available to SSSC registered adult social care workers and social workers. They are scheduled on different days and at different times to allow for shift patterns. They will have interactive discussions about the grief process and will provide models that can enhance your understanding of grief and loss.

Dates and times
Each three-hour workshop will be 2.5 hours on content and discussion and 30 minutes engagement time with a short break. A facilitator will be available for short support following the session if attendees request. The facilitator will close the session after all attendees have left.
