Changes to notifications employers receive when an employment record changes

When an employee ends or adds a new employment to their registration we send an email to countersignatories who have asked to receive these notifications. For larger organisations this can result in lots of emails.

We listened to your feedback and changed our process. Where employment records have changed in the last seven days, employers who have requested notifications will now receive one email each Friday advising them to sign into MySSSC to view the changes.

All countersignatories can view employment changes made in the last 21 days in the employers’ section of MySSSC by selecting the ‘recent employment changes’ tile.

Other notification emails sent to employers relating to applications, qualifications and late annual declarations will continue as normal.

Lead countersignatories can nominate up to a maximum of three countersignatories in their organisation to receive email notifications. To do this, select the ‘choose a countersignatory to receive notification’ tile on the employers’ section of MySSSC.
