Your learning

Build your digital confidence with DigiSkills

Digital skills are becoming part of everyday work in social services. DigiSkills is a new free online learning resource designed to help you feel more confident using digital tools, data and technology in your role.

Choose the learning that works for you

DigiSkills is free and open to everyone. You do not need to be registered with the SSSC to use it.

Each activity links to one of the six areas of the Digital and Data Capability Framework which describes the digital and data skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to support the delivery of health and social care services. Capability tags help you find topics that are most relevant to your work, your confidence and your learning goals.

Work through the activities at your own pace, in any order. You can focus on one topic, explore a few areas or come back whenever you need a refresher.

Support your CPL

SSSC registrants can use DigiSkills as part of their continuous professional learning (CPL). It offers a flexible way to build skills, reflect on learning and keep your registration up to date.

Learn on your own or with your team

Use DigiSkills on your own or as part of team learning. Discussing the activities with your manager or colleagues can help you connect what you learn to your day-to-day work.

You can record your learning in any way that suits you. We encourage you to use the SSSC MyLearning service. At the end of each section, you can scan the QR code to add reflections directly to your learning log.
