The Scottish Government, the Social Work Education Partnership (SWEP) and partners, including the SSSC, are holding a series of workshops as they develop the Advanced Social Work Practice Framework.
The workshops are for social work staff and students to share their expertise and experiences to inform the new framework, which aims to open developmental pathways for all social workers, wherever they work and however they want to develop their career.
At the workshop attendees will hear an outline of the need for the Advanced Social Work Practice Framework, initial thinking and then have the opportunity to discuss how their experiences can play a role in developing the framework.
The workshops will provide an opportunity for attendees to share their thoughts on the broader opportunities and challenges of learning and development within the social work profession.
