Our Council has 10 members, including the Convener, who come from a variety of backgrounds and must include SSSC registrants and users of care services.
Scottish Ministers welcome applications from people from a wide range of backgrounds who have the following skills, knowledge and experience.
- Experience and understanding of accessing social services as/for either someone in care and/or someone with a disability.
- Ability to analyse and review complex issues to reach conclusions.
- Working co-operatively and collaboratively.
- Effective communication.
You do not need to have any board experience for these posts.
