We welcome the Independent Review of Inspection, Scrutiny and Regulation (IRISR) announced today and look forward to working with the Chair Dame Sue Bruce, Vice Chair Stuart Currie and the Review Team over the coming months.
It is essential that inspection and regulation of social care and related services contribute to delivering the best outcomes for everyone using and accessing these services. And that the approach is the right one to support the aspirations of the National Care Service.
