Can you help us to improve our letters and emails?

We want to make sure the letters and emails we send are as clear, helpful and easy to understand as possible and we really need your help to do this.

Most people on our register will never go through our investigation and fitness to practise processes but those that do will get emails and letters from us to explain what is happening and what they need to do. This could be because they are raising concerns about someone, going through an investigation themselves or they might be a witness.

We are looking for volunteers to take part in our project to review our communications during January.

You can take part either online or by phone or both if you like.

We will select volunteers from all the different parts of the Register to take part and send some examples of our letters and emails for you to look through and then ask you to answer a few questions. For example, are they easy to read, do you know what action to take and is there enough information.

If you would like to get involved, please fill out this online form to send us your contact details.

If you’re selected, we’ll get in touch with you as soon as we can to arrange for you to take part. Once we’ve gathered all the feedback, we’ll be able to make the changes needed. We plan to complete this review by the end of March 2022.
