Social service workforce

New wellbeing hub for people working in health and social care

A new National Wellbeing Hub to support the mental and physical health and wellbeing of the health and social care workforce including unpaid carers, volunteers and their families is now available.

The online hub will provide relevant support when people need it, as the whole workforce responds to the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Specifically tailored to support the challenges being faced by everyone in health and social care, the hub provides advice on self-care and personal resilience to help users to recognise their own ‘warning signs’. Comprehensive information about services and resources available at national and local level within NHS Boards, Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs) and local authorities is also available.

Visit the National Wellbeing Hub here.

National Wellbeing Helpline

The National Wellbeing Helpline 0800 111 4191 provides a 24 hour support service to people in the health and social care workforce who need further psychological support.
