The registration deadline is 30 September 2020 for any workers in post on or before 2 October 2017. Workers who started after this date, should apply for registration as soon as possible.

We have registered over 61,000 support workers in care at home and housing support services since opening the Register.
We expect another 1,000 have still to apply for registration. We’d encourage workers to apply as soon as possible and will make our best efforts to ensure they are registered before 30 September 2020.

A success story for the sector
The largest parts of our Register are care at home and housing support workers. In only three years working with employers, workers and umbrella bodies, such as CCPS (Coalition of Care and Support Providers) and Scottish Care, we’ve met a huge challenge of registering over 60,000 workers.
This is a great success story for the sector to achieve registration within the timescales.
