SSSC registration

Have you changed job recently? Remember to let us know

It’s important you tell us about any changes to your SSSC registration details as soon as they happen, whether it’s changing job, address, contact information or your name.

How do you update your details?

Sign into MySSSC and choose the ‘Change my information’ tile to tell us about any changes. Here you can:

  • end employment details
  • tell us about new employment
  • update your home address
  • tell us if you’ve changed your name
  • update your contact email and phone number.

It’s your responsibility to tell us about any changes in your circumstances to make sure your details are up to date and you continue to receive important information about your registration.

Changing employment details

Here are some things to think about when telling us about a change of employment.

Do you need to change the Register part you are on?

Has the type of work you carry out changed, for example, were you employed in a care home service for adults and now work in care at home?

Has your role changed giving you more responsibility?

This could mean you need to apply for a different part of the SSSC Register.

If you are in any doubt which part of the Register you need to be on, speak with your employer.

To apply for a new part of the Register, sign into MySSSC and complete a new application. Remember to end any employment that is no longer required.

Do you need to stay on the same Register part?

Is your day-to-day work the same but you have moved workplace or employer?

Have you left full time employment but are still doing the same work on a bank/supply/relief basis?

To add new employment that is relevant to your current registration sign into MySSSC and update your details through the ‘Change my Information’ tile.

Name changes

It is important to tell us about any change to your name or if you practice using a different name to the one you are registered under.

Contact information

Please tell us about any changes to your mobile number, home address and email so we can keep in touch with you.

Your newsletter subscriptions

You can also update what monthly newsletters you want to receive on MySSSC using the ‘Newsletter subscriptions’ tile. Here you can sign up for as many of our newsletters as you want or unsubscribe if you no longer want to receive them.
